The famous American photographer Alfred Stieglitz once said that “wherever there is light, one can photograph”. It is my personal mission in both my photography and in my life to discover and capture the ‘light’ within everyone I encounter and photograph. It is my passion to capture the elegance, power and beauty within the clients I work with.
In the last two years I have undergone a personal transformation that has allowed me realise the true importance of self-confidence and self-love. Having lost 20 kilos, I know very well what it feels like struggle with body confidence and self esteem issues.
This transformative experience has allowed me to better understand my clients and has further ignited my passion for the camera. My photography allows me to communicate my belief that true beauty can be found no matter what shape or size you are.
For a long time I personally fell into the ‘perfectionist’ trap. Since undergoing my transformation, I now realise that perfection comes from within and we should strive for perfection through love, happiness and positivity.
I implement this ideal into all of my work as it is my biggest hope that my clients see my work and feel fulfilled and gratified by the results. In my work, I aim to illuminate the ‘light’ within each and every individual I work with regardless of whether they are a size 6 or a size 16. I have truly come to recognise that there is beauty and power to be found within everyone and it is my goal to capture this.
As I am a certified health and life coach, as well as an NLP practitioner, I have the ability to make my clients feel happy and comfortable by creating a relaxed and positive environment where they can feel confident and empowered in front of the camera. I am also the mother of three children which allows me to bring love and empathy into all of my work, whilst also making my clients feel supported and encouraged throughout the entire process.
As a Wedding Photographer I am a true believer in the statement ‘where there is love, there is light!’
I have been lucky enough to travel the world, photographing weddings and portraits for over fifteen years. These experiences have shown me that the light which beams out of the power of love has the power to truly change the world. As I am an international multi award winning AIPP Master Photographer, you can expect the highest quality results and an unforgettable experience.
